Le Petit Prince is mostly merlot and is a joy to drink, offering globules of flavour that shift reluctantly throatwards...Rugged yet smooth, chewy yet fresh, and the tannins are balanced....Le Rouge et Le Noir is merlot and cabernet, unfiltered, and the liquid is deep red with purple edges....The fruit is generous with tannins, which allow for a polished finish to coagulate in the throat.
Malcom Gluck, The Guardian
Le Petit Prince It's a fantastic find - dark and austere in the glass, a first whiff reveals a velvet suppleness and cherry aromas. This holds its own against many clarets.
Will Lyons, Scotland on Sunday
A youthful but extremely seductive red with
fine-grained tannins, lovely oak integration and subtle fruit flavours. This is so good it
could be a classed growth Bordeaux.
